	About us

Motor & Home Direct are part of Group Direct Ltd, a UK based insurance intermediary with offices in Bristol, Southampton and Torquay.

The group was founded in 2001 and currently employs over 280 employees nationwide. The group specialise in all types of business insurance including commercial vehicle, liability, taxi, office and fleet insurance.

At the start of 2003 the Motor & Home Direct division was opened to offer our existing commercial client base excellent rates on their car and home insurance. Motor & Home Direct is now a successful business in its own right and prides itself on its high level of customer satisfaction, and ability to provide a knowledgeable and efficient service to potential and existing customers.

Group Direct work with a panel of over 20 insurers and the rates we offer reflect the good relationships we have built up with insurers over the years. We have negotiated arrangements with suppliers to provide additional benefits on some policies such as legal protection, breakdown cover and replacement vehicles in the event of a non-fault accident.

We do not have the facility to quote and sell insurance online as we believe by talking to the customer we can not only tailor the policy to their needs but also ensure they are buying the correct cover at the best price. Our rates and service speak for themselves!

	The team


	Kevin Davies Managing Director – Motor & Home Direct Kevin was one of the founding members of Motor and Home Direct and has over 26 years experience in personal and commercial insurance. Kevin joined us from Hill House Hammond.

	Andrew Bessell Operations Manager - Motor & Home Direct.. Andrews role is to develop and oversee all business units to ensure a high level of service is delivered to customers and ambitious growth targets are achieved. He assists and deputies for Kevin Davies (MD). He has over 25 years broking experience, most recently with Hill House Hammond.

	Andrew Pearce. Team Manager - New Projects Motor & Home Direct Andrews role is to set up new projects and has successfully launched “BUSINESS CAR” which provides insurance solutions for company owned or leased cars. He has over 25yrs experience in the insurance industry.

	Tina Hawker Team Manager – Existing Business, Motor & Home Direct Tina looks after the smooth running of the existing business team, ensuring that renewal deadlines are met and customers receive the highest level of service.

	Mark Fleet Team Manager – Motor & Home Direct, Sales Team Mark's role is to spearhead the sales drive but also to train and monitor staff to ensure high professional standards are maintained.

	Julie McCoy Team Manager - eTeam Julie's team handle the enquiries generated by sister companies such as eCar. They provide broking solutions for customers who need specialist advice or a more personal service.
